What are the main types of micro-tillers?

Generally speaking, micro-cultivators can be broadly classified into four types: standard type, wheel-less type, crawler type, and paddy field type. 1. From the brand perspective, there are many classifications. Currently, there are many manufacturers in China, as well as many imported brands and Sino-foreign joint venture brands, giving farmers countless choices. 2. From the perspective of walking methods, there are mainly four types - standard type, wheel-less type, crawler type, and paddy field type (which can also be understood as amphibious type). Most places in China use standard micro-cultivators. Crawler types are specifically designed for particularly complex plots. 3. From the perspective of transmission

Generally speaking, micro-cultivators can be broadly categorized into four types: standard type, wheel-less type, crawler type, and paddy field type.
  1. In terms of brands, there are many classifications.
Most places in China use the standard type of micro-cultivator. The crawler type is specifically designed for particularly complex plots.
  3. In terms of transmission methods, micro-cultivators mainly have three types - gear transmission type, belt transmission type, and multi-functional management machine. Gear transmission type and belt transmission type are commonly seen and easy to understand. They offer different power methods and sizes. Belt transmission type micro-cultivators provide relatively larger power and are the most widely used type in the domestic market. The multi-functional management machine is different from the above two types. It adopts an independent transmission and walking system and can be equipped with various common tools to complete dozens of tasks.
  4. In terms of power source, they can be divided into gasoline micro-cultivators and diesel micro-cultivators. Gasoline engines are equipped, while diesel engines have greater power and are mainly used for plots with harder soil. However, gasoline micro-cultivators are smaller, easier to carry and use, and more flexible. If the soil is soft, it is recommended to use gasoline micro-cultivators. Micro-cultivators play an important role in agricultural production. They can help farmers complete ridging, soil cultivation, deep ditching, basal fertilization, weeding, and soil breaking. They can also tow trailers for short-distance transportation, so choosing a suitable product is crucial.
  5. In terms of transmission methods, micro-cultivators have belt and chain transmissions and direct transmissions. Direct transmission is further divided into vertical shaft and horizontal shaft according to the crankshaft output direction.
  6. According to the starting mode, there are electric start and hand-pull recoil start. There are also micro-cultivators classified according to the crops used, which can be considered as a short form of ditching and ridging machines. This type of machinery focuses on shallot ridging machines, and shallot ditching machines can also perform rotary tillage.

Essential details and precautions for using a micro-tiller

A micro-tiller is an agricultural mechanization tool mainly used for deep plowing, loosening soil, and tillage. It is a common type of agricultural machinery in rural areas.

Maintenance and repair of micro-tillers

Currently, as a small type of agricultural machinery, almost every household has a small micro-tiller. Sometimes, if there are minor problems with the micro-tiller, how can one perform simple maintenance and repair? First, the micro-tiller uses gear transmission, with no power loss, wide tillage width, deep tillage depth, strong adaptability, and can easily handle various soil types with high efficiency. Problems may occur during the use of the micro-tiller. When problems occur, repairs should be carried out promptly, and the repair technician must be logical. The following is a four-step repair method for micro-tillers. 1. Cleaning of the site and machine when using the micro-tiller
